My place is a 1940s house near Weston Road. Is the lead paint a real problem?
It can be. Homes built before 1960 usually have lead in the older paint, and a lot of Mount Dennis fits that. It is only a problem if someone sands it dry and spreads the dust. We prep those walls wet and keep the room sealed.
